I know it has taken me a while to get back to you but I wanted to take my time and fully commit to going through all the exercises and then the lessons so I could fully assess any changes.
I would like to say thank you and to let you know how much I am benefiting from the 6 lesson beginner’s course and that for me they have been life changing.
When I contacted you back in January and you kindly then rang me I was at a bit of a low ebb, struggling with hip osteoarthritis, neck and shoulder tension and various other issues. I am now walking so much better, am in considerable less pain and have felt such a huge release in my body tension so much so that initially the release after a lesson has on occasion brought me to tears.
I really cannot thank you enough and I would now really like to progress and move forward from the beginner’s course.

Just lately I have been waking up with lots of aches and pains. Well, actually I have not been able to sleep well because of those aches and pains ... after a particularly bad night sleep, I said to myself enough is enough, get on the floor and practice!’ I decided to make use of your beginner series and OMG how fantastic are those videos. I started right back at the beginning with “arch and flatten” video ... Honestly that video and those instructions are absolutely marvellous! I felt really good after that. I then did the “rope pull” video (again great video with very clear instructions) and I finished with the “wash- rag” . I was in pain before practicing, but I feel wonderful now, ready to face the day. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful resource and for the wonderful practice of Somatics. I will now work my way through the beginner series and then start picking classes from all the other ones on your site. Thanks again Liz.

I have practiced the lessons religiously twice a day from the beginners course and these have been wonderful! I started to realise how twisted and tight I had become so went back to the somatics basics - and practicing just 30 minutes twice a day, I have gradually untwisted. My right shoulder was the last thing I have been working on - but finally this morning it started to release, I was beginning to think it never would!
I became aware of how tight my muscles were and how badly i was walking, something I had not realised before. The muscle then released. This wonderful resource has enabled me to carry on with a lot of heavy gardening over this last month as well as improving my posture.
