2. Website Information
As you use this website information is received and stored by us. This information is used to enable us to improve the website and to enable us to respond to your requests.


This website uses cookies to enhance our users experience. Users can use this website with no loss of functionality if cookies are disabled from the web browser.


Intelligent Movement will make no attempt to identify individual visitors, or to associate any technical details listed above with any individual.

3. Personal Information
What personal data do we collect/store? In order to make an online query or a booking with Intelligent Movement, you will be asked for information when you register with us. We will require, amongst other things your name and email address and phone number. We also ask for some basic health information so we can provide appropriate classes.


We use Ribbon Experiences (also known as With Ribbon) and Stripe for our booking system and payment processing on packages, products and services with collect your address and payment details. Our company website is hosted on the SquareSpace platform and our newsletters and marketing messages are sent via Mailchimp.


How we may use your information. We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes, we may contact you via email, telephone and /or text.


Unless you ask us not to, we will tell you about services we offer and about opportunities to support us. For private face to face clients, we will keep your data for a minimum period of 7 years, as required by law or our regulators. After this time, where appropriate, we will destroy/delete your data unless the relationship is still ongoing.

4. Privacy of Information and GDPR
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the new European law that took effect from 25 May 2018. The legislation will affect anyone living inside the EU and any organisation that holds the data of EU residents.

We will take all reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of information you give us. Agents or contractors of Intelligent Movement who have access to information you give us in the course of providing services by us are required to keep that information confidential and are not permitted to use it for any purpose other than to carry out the services which they are performing for us. The information received from you will only be disclosed to such third parties as may be necessary, in order to process your query.
We aim to be clear when we collect your data and not do anything with it that you wouldn’t reasonably expect. Developing a better understanding of our customers and those that support us allows us to use the data that we gather to make better decisions about how we do things. We will never sell your personal data to third parties nor market it elsewhere without the express permission from yourself to do so.

We endeavour to ensure the highest level of security. You should note however, that internet transmissions are never completely private or secure. You accept that any information or message you send to the site may be intercepted or read by others.

We use third-party payment gateway services and have no control over these services. We use our commercially reasonable efforts to make sure your credit card number is kept strictly confidential by using only third-party payment gateway services that use industry-standard encryption technology to protect your credit card number from unauthorised use. However, you understand and agree that we are in no way responsible for any misuse of your credit card number.

6. Retrieving Information.
If you have given us information about yourself and would like copies of that information, or you would like us to correct any factual inaccuracies in that information, or if you would like that information deleted from our records, then please contact us at liz@intelligent-movement.co.uk. We will use reasonable efforts to supply, correct or delete information about you on our files. We are entitled to charge you a fee for supplying you with copies of information which we hold.

If you choose to visit this site and use this site, your visit and use and any dispute arising therefrom in respect of privacy, is subject to this Privacy Statement and our Terms and Conditions of use including the limitations and the exclusions expressed and included therein.

This Privacy Statement will be the subject of change and the use of information that we gather shall be subject to the privacy notice in effect from time to time. It shall be your responsibility to check our website frequently to see any recent changes.
